  • The rules have changed, and the laws have changed. 

    • TCPA: The TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act) explicitly states that you must get consent—in writing—before sending commercial text messages to any customer. The TCPA helps protect consumers from robotexts and spam.

    • 10DLC: If you don’t register your business, your texts will get filtered, and/or you’ll have to pay a hefty fee.

  • Blasting out texts to everyone is a waste of time and money. 

  • Mass texting leads can get your phone numbers and/or phone accounts shut down.

THE SOLUTIONS:

  • Register with 10DLC

  • Hyper-target your leads

    • Give examples of extremely specific filters they can use in BatchLeads

      • IE - Homes owned for more than 10 years, built before 1991, not owner-occupied.

    • Give examples of specific messaging they can use in those texts to target those people.

      • IE - Hi [name], are you currently renting your property at [address]? 

  • Call the leads first - it helps with reputation status

  • Don’t send more than 200 texts per line, per day.

  • When signing up with 3rd parties to purchase numbers, tell them you’ll be using the platform to:

    • Communicate with clients

    • Send updates to investment partners

    • Combine with phone calls to communicate with engaged leads
