This guide will show you how to properly use "Quick Filters" when pulling lists by a location or boundary using "Property Search" You can use them by themselves OR you can use your more detailed filters FIRST, then select a quick filter ON TOP of your results! 



Searching by Location

Start by going to "Property Search" from the left menu. With the location search, you can lookup a specific address, city, zip code or county and once you finish typing where you'd like to pull a list, click "search". (shown in image below)


Your quick filters will be visible across the bottom of the screen and will show "0" for each category until you initiate your search. Quick filters categorize the properties you find into their own sections which make them easy to use!


In the example image below, the user searched "Phoenix, Arizona" and WITHOUT any filters set a total of 448,303 populated and the quick filters are showing how many of those 400,000+ are in Preforeclosure, have high equity, are tired landlords etc.


You can utilize Quick Filters 2 different ways:

1. You can simply click on one of the categories right away to save the properties

2. You can click the blue "Filter" button at the top of the page FIRST and choose your more detailed filters, then use your Quick Filters ON TOP of those results.


If you choose to use more detailed filters first, click on "filter" at the top to open all of BatchLeads available options.

Set the filters you'd like and click "apply".


After you apply the filters, click the little "X" to close the pop up (directly underneath the "filter" button in image)


In this example, the user chose to find properties in Phoenix, AZ that are Absentee Owners, Residential, Single family, built in 1995 or earlier, OFF market, have been owned for 7+ years, and the owners are 40 years old or older. (all filters will show on the right so you can keep track) 


TIP: You can also click "SAVE" to save the criteria you pulled as your very own "Quick Filter" for future searches. You can have up to 5 quick filters and an unlimited amount of regular saved filters which will always be accessible at the very top of the detailed filters pup up under "saved filters".

If you saved the filters and click the box to "add to quick filter" these will show up next to the default quick filters at the bottom of the screen but will be blue. 


Your filtered results will populate on the right, where you can click on any of the addresses to view the details or expand the list view.


Your quick filters will now be categorizing your filtered results and you can click on one to take a closer look at save them!

For example, from the detailed filters the user applied, they found 12,253 properties, out of the 12,000 they could click on the "vacant" quick filter if that's what they wanted to view and save!

The reason you will use your detailed filters first is so that when you go to add your quick filter on top, it will have all the criteria you previously set which will allow you to pull a very focused list! 


Once you're satisfied with the list you found, click "select" in the top right hand corner and choose to select all, whatever is visible or a custom number, then click "ADD" to save the list to your account.


Save the properties to a list and a tag! Lists are great for broad pain points and tags are great for more specific details like the market, the date added and additional details. To learn more about "lists" and "tags" click HERE 


In the example image below, the user is placing the properties under an "Vacant" list and under a more specific tag "Phoenix AZ - <1995, 7+ yrs owned, 40+ yrs old - 9/4/22" They included where they pulled the list, the date at the end and any additional info that may be of importance from the manual filters they previously used.


Once finished, click "SAVE". All addresses will be saved to "My Lists" in your menu. You can find your list/tag easily in the future with the filters in "properties" - To learn more, Click HERE 


Searching by Boundary

NOTE: You can change from "map" or "satellite" view with the gear icon in the bottom right hand corner to make boundary searches easier!


Select "boundary" under the search bar and choose which shape you'd like to draw. A circle, box or a custom shape (custom is great for if you're trying to avoid including a river or railroad tracks).


Click ONCE on the map to start drawing and click ONCE more to finish the shape ( for custom, click once to start and stop each line and connect them all till you finish the shape)


Once you finish, the results will populate on the right and you can use your quick filters on click the blue "filter" at the top of the screen to get more detailed! (See the above guide on how to use your filters and quick filters on top of that as well as how to save them to a list and a tag)
